music not showing up in music player?

Benita Nancy: http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=201...The LG Optimus F7 is a smart phone so should "know" where all music files are stored even if e.g. kept in the gallery (pictures)The obvious reason is the microSD card [mSD] is not mounted (not familiar with LG) but on proper insertion of a mSD card and answers the second part of the questions 2 brands I know change the default saving to the mSD card and asks you to confirm it or change it back to the phone memoryYou need to check if the card can be read by another source e.g. a PC and that there are files stored on it as a mSD card that has become corrupt need to be formatted all data is lost, whilst unformatted it is as good an NO cardIf the mSD card is ok like you can view a jpeg by going to it direct accessing the MP3 file will give you the option to play.Again just a guess the music player may like "Real player" need you to “import” all the music files as it is just an app....Show more
