There are also studies that show people have a tendency to see patterns even where there aren't any. I think that is why I personally don't like facial piercings. They detract from the balance. But that is just me. Some of what is considered beauty is cultural. Look at how the perception of beauty changed through the centuries or in different parts of the world. Luis Farlow: Depends, it's about evolution.We mate with what we see as a perfect candidate for producing a healthy newborn etc.Obviously some things change, but I did hear a guy may go for a woman who reminds him of a close female to him whom he respects example: his mum,sister,aunty,nan,cousin. Creepy but true.Women find comfort in men who may be like thei! r fathers (if they had good abuse free up-bringing etc).I personally love a guy with a well structured jaw line, which my fiancee has and facial hair as I find it more masculin and comforting.
