Health Care and Education In Puerto Rico?

Jinny Dronen: Healthcare & education in PR are good. Of course they are slightly under typical US standards. But compared to the rest of the caribbean you will find the best hospitals & schools in PR for sure. The literacy rate is high & you can get care for almost any normal health condition. The private schools are better than the public of course. Public schools teach in spanish & have english as a class. Many private schools teach in english & spanish. And doctor visits are affordable without insurance, but its better to have insurance if possible....Show more

Kris Bozelle: Well you are 13, so it could change a little bit. You first get your BS in pre-med or biology, then apply for different medical schools, about half way (or before medschool) you contact an AMEDD recruiter. These are the people that get Dr. to join the military. They could pay for med school and get you started in everything that is Army Medicine.
