Marvel Mcaulay: Airport security has greatly improved since 9/11 now you can't bring more than 4 oz bottles of liquid and the bottles have to be clear. all your luggage is scanned using a high resolution x-ray machine. Random physical searches are used. You pass through metal detectors to ensure you are carrying no metal items. Your carry-ons are searched. and random baggage checks are used. you can;t bring sharp objects such as scissors or sharpeners as the blades can be removed and used as knives....Show more
Bruce Calise: the security has greatly improved since 9/11. they search all bags thoroughly and do not let anything liquid pass security. there are longer lines at security, but i would rather that then something happening on the plane!=D
