Marcel Then: Some cities have an organization called Silver Key which provides free rides for seniors who need transportation to doctor appt's. They are a private group of volunteers, not tax supported. When you were younger, did you volunteer to take older people to their doctor appts? If not, then why do you now think you are ENTITLED to free transportation? Not to be unkind, but we all must realize that we are responsible for our own needs and someone else does not owe us free anything. I am 65 and believe that my health care and transportation needs are MY responsibility If volunteer help is available, that is wonderful, but no one OWES me anything....Show more
