Raleigh Lufkin: Are you talking about the Reg no. or the number plate?With TC number you are not permitted to take it out of the state. If you take a chance, get ready to pay fine/bribe(as applicable) at every visible police post. Because TC numbers are easily noticable.If you are talking about a non-embossed number plate in white and black, then yes, you can take it out of the state.But I have never heard of Pramanent Reg. taking so long. Infact, for all my cars(One in WB, one in TN and the last one in MH), I got it delivered only after getting the parmanent registration done. The dealer did all the formalities....Show more
